
Local Attractions
Llandudno has something for everyone. Two wide sandy beaches, three 18-hole golf courses nearby and the Great Ormes country park offers some excellent scenic walks. The summit can be reached on the splendid Victorian Tram, or on the longest cable car ride in Britain. The Great Orme also provides a dramatic setting for the dry ski slope and toboggan run. Whilst Llandudno itself offers an excellent shopping centre, majestic pier, broad promenade as well as a modern theatre, bowling alley and on the outskirts of Llandudno we have a new multiscreen cinema.

Great Orme Summit Complex
You can't visit the Great Orme Country Park without taking a look around the Summit Complex.
Built earlier this century as a nine bedroom hotel adjoining an 18-hole golf course, the Summit Complex has had several owners, a big fire and many face changes since its grand beginnings. Including Randolph Turpins Bar which has been dedicated to the previous owner.

Great Orme Tramway
Built in 1902, this famous tramway offers a unique journey to the summit complex, which is located at the top of the Great Orme.

Conwy
The town with its 13th century castle gives its name to the county of Conwy.
The origins of this magical and mystical land date back many thousands of years. Today, you can take a fascinating journey through the rich strata of history that have left their visible remains throughout the region. Bronze Age copper mines, flint arrow head and axe head factories, stone circles and megalithic burial chambers.
You can walk across the mountains on Roman roads and drink from the health giving waters they valued so highly. Medieval castles, elegant Tudor homes and splendid Victorian engineering are all in abundance.

Snowdonia
The North Wales Coastal Resorts are an ideal base from which to discover the stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park.
Even when the Spring sunshine is warming the sands, in the background are the snowcapped mountain peaks, an unforgettable sight! In Spring too, you can watch the salmon leap in a rushing river or maybe take a stroll through the lush forests, loud with bird song and carpeted with bluebells, or discover a silent lake, high up in the mountains where the distant bleat of a lamb echoes across the lake.
There are wonderful walks and secluded picnic spots to discover in Summer and in Autumn, the changing colours are simply breathtaking.The summit of Snowdonia can be reached by train, one of several small trains that run in North Wales.
Betws-y-CoedBetws-y-Coed is a beautiful mountain resort, much of which was built in Victorian times. Numerous Craft and outdoor activity shops are in the village with the popular Swallow Falls nearby. It is set in a beautiful valley in the Snowdonia Forest Park and is ideal for outdoor activity holidays. The Vine House is the ideal starting point for tours throughout the wonderland of N. Wales. Snowdonia and the castles of North Wales are all within easy driving range.
